Indian Republic Day Rangoli - Pookalam / Pookolam Design

Wishing you a very happy Republic day to all my friends and well wishers...Pookalam / Pookolam Design is full of colors and I hope this 26'th January will add more & more colors in your life. Indian Republic Day Rangoli - Pookalam / Pookolam Design Used by Flowers,Choclates,Paper and Threads. 

Materials Required:-

500 gms Orange Marigold,500 gms Yellow Marigold,500 gms globe amaranth[Vadamalli],   

4 Lotus Flowers,Unruled cutted white papers,Few chocolates,Embroidering Threads, 

1 Brass lamp,Few Small Diyas 

Step 1 : Use a chalk or a rice powder to draw a circle design . You can use any round shape tolls to make this circles. I used different shapes of plates to make this multi circle design

Step 2: Now start fill with flowers without gap

Step 3 :Extend a circle design. Draw 4 flower petals on the circle design

Step 4: Imagine your flower colors and start placing flowers according per that. I used flag color flowers to fill this inner layer design

Step 5: Draw one more flower petal in between the two petals

Step 6: Fill with Flower .Extend a flower design and fill with your favourite flowers.[Refer below images]

Step 7: Rangoli Flower design is ready.You can complete until this step. If you want to elaborate rangoli can go to further steps. 

Step 8: Draw small circles on the all sides

Step 9: Be creative and have fun with your colors! Don't leave empty space on the Rangoli it will give dull look to your Rangoli.

Step 10: Use diyas or Flower to enhance the beauty of your Republic day Rangoli.
