Maha Shivrathri Rangoli Design - Free Hand style

I  drawn this Maha Shivrathri Rangoli with full faith, respect and clean, for upcoming festival Maha Shivrathri. I drawn this devotional Rangoli which used by rice flour(Raw rice powder + Steam rice powder equal measurement). This Rangoli should draw only in puja rooms and not recommended for doorways or entrance. Maybe can draw in non footage areas.

Step 1: Draw a circle design on surrounding, make simple curve design

Step 2: Draw three lines in the centre like shiva pattai.(Vibhuti traditionally as three horizontal lines across the foreheadBhasma (ash), Thiruneeru and Vibhooti, are a word that has several meanings in Hinduism).

Step 3: Draw some more half circles on the sides. As above draw a curve designs & three horizontal lines .
(Refer below images) Sprinkle the color powder on the designs. I used Kumkum for the red center dot. Kumkum is a form of Shakti. Applying kumkum on the forehead is a symbol of Sanatan Hindu culture and also of sacredness and auspiciousness.

Step 4: Shiva Lingam is the most prevalent icon of lord Shiva. Draw four Shiva lingam on the four sides and flowers on the Lingam.

Step 5: Draw lotus designs in between the lingams.

Step 6: Maha Shivrathri Rangoli design is ready for our celebration. Once you’re done keep flowers and diyas on the Rangoli that will give perfect look to your design
