Rangoli is considered very auspicious due to which it is an
inevitable part of Hindu festivals. In kerala ‘Pookalam’ or the flower rangoli
marks the festival of Onam. ‘Poo’ means ‘flower’ and ‘Kalam’ means

Step 1 : Use a chalk or a Rice powder to draw a star design inside the circle
Step 2 :Keep brass lamp on center then Imagine your flower colors and start placing flowers according per that
Step 3 : Now start fill with flowers without gap
Step 4 :Extend a star design
Step 5 :If you have less flowers,you can stop till this step.
Step 6 :Enlarge your design with more stars on side(Ref.Below image)
Step 7 : Now you can see a whole picture of Pookolam. If you like modify any flowers, slowly you have to change or it will mismatch.
Step 8 : Keep diyas on side to enhance bright and aromas from flowers will spread on whole area.
